energy chain® in the sewage treatment plant
An E2/000 energy chain® is used in a sewage treatment plant near Saale. A motor cable drum previously installed on a sand trap scraper of the sewage treatment plant worked unreliably and therefore had to be replaced by an E2/000 energy chain® of the Series 2500. In the process the energy chain® is exposed to external influences such as H2S gas and strong winds. In addition it permitted only an installation space of 200 mm. The e-chain® is in continuous operation for 24 hours all 365 days.
Chainflex® cables were also used for the secure carrying of data. In the overall energy supply system, two CF control cables and a CFBUS bus cable are used.
