Cost-effective customised solution
igus® also convinced the designers of this solar system. A custom-made special part supports the rotational motion of the solar panels. The special part is ca. 70 per cent cheaper to produce than the previously used metal bearings, and eliminates the need for lubrication. Its low weight simplifies installation.
