Sculpture
For the sake of art
iglidur® plain bearings and thrust washers are shown here in the service of art. They allow „upward“ movements of the figures in the sculpture. This is on location as a floating tent cone in the Port of Amsterdam. Because of the exposed location, the igus® bearings are constantly exposed to the weather. Because it is maintenance-free, Amsterdamers can enjoy the sculpture for two years.
