In this car-trailer, an igus® fl ange bearing made of iglidur® Z replaces the previously used phosphor bronze bearing. This enabled the customer to increase the loading capacity by 25 per cent as desired, and simultaneously to reduce wear on the bearing. The high resistance to wear of the iglidur® Z material also allowed reduction of the size of the required bore hole.
