High impact load
This joint for use in prostheses is a new development. It has plain bearings made of iglidur® J and igubal® pivoting bearings fitted in it. The prosthesis joint was specially designed for use where high and sudden forces occur, such as those in sport, for example. A high degree of mobility was important, but other special features such as resistance to seawater were also important.
