High resistance to chemicals
In this newly developed painting equipment, aluminium components, steel components or façade parts may be completely surface-treated and powder-coated. A special feature is the singlechamber solution. Various operations such as pickling aluminium use, to some extent, extremely aggressive materials. The rollers of the carriage were a special challenge. It was possible to solve this problem with igus® plain bearings made of iglidur® X, which have high chemical resistance.
