Chip resistance RX-series with new smaller installation size
Chips and dirt can affect the service life of cables and hoses significantly. igus® had faced this problem in 2009 and presented, with the RX40, an extremely strong but uniquely shaped plastic energy tube that can be opened. In 2010 it was extended by the larger options RX48 and 56 – and now the smallest size RX32 rounds off the range downward.
Openable at the outer radius
Smooth, curved outer contour – chips do not stick.
Injection-molded “sealing lip“ all around.
No holes, cracks or undercuts.
IP40 tested (TÜV Saarland) – RX40
iF Design award 2010, reddot design award “honourable mention“ 2011
Interior separation and guide trough available.
Optionally deliverable in igumid HT (resistant against hot chips of up to 850°C)
