Assembly instruction for Zero-Backlash
1. Nut
2. Spring with adjusting ring
3. Friction disc
4. Counternut
Screw the adjusting ring with the spring (2) onto the outside of the nut (1) and fix the ends of the spring in the corresponding holes.
Continue to screw the adjusting ring onto the nut until it cannot be screwed on any further.
Slide the friction disc (3) and the counternut (4) over the nut. Please, ensure that the adjusting ring does not slide off at this stage.
Press nut and counternut against each other and screw in the spindle. Make sure the adjusting ring keeps its preloaded position.
Once the spindle is threaded through the complete nut, the adjusting ring can be released. The nut and counternut will now assume a slightly preloaded position on the spindle.
