Long travels, unsupported
Under the name Guidelok, an entirely new system of upper run guidance for long travel echains® was introduced in the market in 2009. This system has now been consistently extended for the range of smaller e.chains® – for example the e.chains® of the E2/000 range. By the use of smaller e.chains®, applications with significantly reduced installation space can be achieved.
Expansion of the application range for e.chains®, which should neither glide nor roll on each other. For instance due to increased presence of chips or other dirt.
Reduced push-pull forces unsupported with rollers instead of gliding = higher energy-efficiency.
Modular system with few parts, possible without lateral guidance.
Operation possible under cleanroom conditions due to significant reduction of abrasion.
Design principle: Roller support even where the radius moves through
e.chain® is guided in the trough channel, pushing back the spring loaded roller support with its radius…
...which snaps back out again after the E-Chain® radius has passed...
...the upper run then gets to lay on the roller support.
