Gripper bracket
Plastic beats steel
In this case, special properties of the iglidur® materials were used for a special part: for the gripper bracket for screws in automatic screwing devices – previously a job done by steel cheeks. However, these caused abrasion and channels on the screws to be processed. Geometrically identical cheeks made of iglidur® plastic prevent damage and chip formation.
