xiros® A500 polymer ball bearings in thermoforming machines
In this thermoforming machine for coffee creamer packages, the xiros® A500 polymer ball bearings are used due to their high chemical resistance.
The ball bearings were built into the sterile area of the facility and are used in deflection rollers, by which the thermoforming and sealing films are guided. In the course the films run through an H2O2 bath, against which the conventional metallic ball bearings are not resistant.
