New sizes for opening, chip tight RX tube: TÜV tested

Problem solver for energy supply systems in the chip area – new interior heights 62 and 73 mm

Chips and dirt can affect the service life of cables and hoses significantly. In 2009 igus® had addressed the problem and introduced an extremely dense, yet snap-open in the outer radius, in the form of a unique plastic E-Tube, which now gets two bigger brothers.

Snap-open in the outer radius

Smooth, curved outer contour - chips do not stick

Injection-molded "sealing lip" all around

No holes, cracks, undercuts

Optional as ESD, high temperature (850°C) and XXL materials (25% more unsupported length) available

Extremely dense and snap-open in the outer radius. Test in the igus® laboratory confi rmed high chip tightness of the RX tube: Only 2.6 g chips were measured for RX40 after 251,900 cycles. Moreover TÜV NORD CERT GmbH confirmed this with IP40.
