This vehicle is a robot that is used for the development of intelligent sensors for motor vehicles. Its wheels can all be individually controlled, which means it can be moved in every direction and by any angle of rotation. The special thing about it: the energy supply to the motor, which moves within a 360° frame, must be achieved in a very small space. An igus® E-Chain® E2 mini which winds and unwinds automatically has no problems keeping up with this movement, and guarantees the energy supply to the motor.
