Theater lightning
When the rope cables for the load trains for stage lighting needed replacing, the decision was made to use igus® Energy Chains®. The cables of the 12 metre wide load trains were previously made of sailcloth pockets where each wire was routed individually. The advantages of the lighter E-Chains®: additional fibreglass, data and video cables could be routed without increasing the overall weight.
