Flume
This 10 metre flume is used to observe sediment deposits under numerous ambient conditions. A sensor is moved over the flume to take the measurements. Since saltwater is also used for testing, the energy supply has to be corrosion-resistant. Sensor movement has been made easier by using a plastic Energy Chain®, and there are no longer any stumbling blocks caused by the measuring cables.
