Cableway switch
Every day, the cableway cabins on the Kitzsteinhorn cableway have to be moved off or put back onto the storage sidings in the top and bottom stations. This is down with the aid of hydraulically operated lifting and turning switch. The energy supply to the switch is secured using Chainflex® cables which are routed in a Triflex® R Energy Chain® which can be moved in three dimensions. Perfect function is guaranteed even in the environmental conditions at the top station (down to -30 °C).
