This gantry machine tool can be moved over 19 metres. The application was designed gliding. The operator feared that the friction caused by hot metal chips would lead to problems, however. For this reason, the energy supply was designed with the all over igus® Guidelok-System, which prevent the upper run laying on the lower run, so that the problem of friction was solved.
