Hobbing machine
Hobbing is a continual toothing method and is very flexible and highly productive. With a hobbing machine, all tooth quantities, all profile offsets and any angle of inclination can be produced by varying the machine settings. An energy supply had to be found that could keep up with the three-dimensional movement of the machine. An igus® Triflex® of the 332 series is used for the application.
