Horizontal lathe
This lathe is used to produce turbine parts or drilling rods, for example. It has a particularly long travel for the tool slide. Two double-run E-Chains® supply the slide with current and guarantee control. They are connected self-supporting to the slide over a length of 13.5 m. To prevent any chips falling onto the chains and blocking movement, the E-Chains® are fitted with a horizontal Guidelok-System.
