Hard drive enclosure
Small igus® E-Chains® of the series E2 micro route the power and data cables into a newly developed hard drive enclosure, the individual drawers of which can be pulled out to replace the drives. Replacement is even necessary with the system running. Each of the five drawers has room for twelve hard drives. A return spring causes zigzag movement of the E-Chains® when the drawers retract.
