Here, a moving slide on a trailer is supplied with energy. The trailer is used as a brake van in “tractor pulling” competitions. The objective is usually to pull the brake van 100 metres. The slide travel is around 6 metres, the deceleration up to 13.2 m/s². Since the competitions take place outdoors, there is a heavy load through dust, dirt and influences of the weather. This makes no different to the igus® Energy Chain® of the series E2 medium used, however.
