Extremely cramped conditions repeatedly led to problems with Energy Chains® used with robots in a car factory. The cable assembly got caught and tore. This was no longer a problem once the robots had been converted to the igus® Triflex® R-Set. The set guides the cables safely around the complex robot geometries. The robots now run completely problem-free without loop forming, even under adverse conditions such as welding dust.
