“DualDocker” is a new mooring system for sail and motor yachts. The connection principle corresponds to a towing hitch on a car. Two retaining arms for a stable prism with the yacht. Kinetic energy from wind and waves is therefore absorbed by powerful dampers and the yacht rests safely in the harbor even during a storm. igus® bearings made of the materials iglidur® J, P and Z absorb the enormous forces of up to 100,000 N in the bearing point here. All the materials are corrosion-resistant and can be used both in hot and cold temperatures.
