Corrosion-proof in sea water
This lifting device is used on boats and yachts to set smaller dinghies and jetskis in the water or hoist them back on deck. All bearing points should be maintenance-free, both in fresh water and sea water. Having igus® plain bearings made of iglidur® X enables the components made of a various metals to be well electrically insulated. This material also sustains the high surface pressure on the bearing points whilst having a low water absorption capacity.
