Oscillating bearings on gear shift in utility vehicles

On the one hand this application helps to make gear shifting more comfortable and on the other to reduce the noises caused by vibration in the driver's cab. By increasing the size of the bearing point, it was possible to fit two iglidur® G flange bearings with an ungraduated bolt. The stiffness of the bearing points was thus increased and sources of vibration in the driver's cab were reduced. An additional iglidur® G thrust washer also enabled friction and wear to be reduced.
