Precise and effective
This prescription printer, which is used in pharmacies, fits into the limited space of a cash desk drawer. The printer is one of the most important components of the cash desk, as failure prevents prescriptions from being processed and thus means a sales shortfall. Absolute accuracy is also required for a precise typeface. The ink cartridge holder slides on the metal guide rod with two iglidur® J plain bearings, whilst two additional guides on the metal lip help it to run parallel. The guide rod was assembled with igus® MCM clip bearings.
