Gears in vehicles for harvesting sugar cane
Robust under high forces
The gear shift in these vehicles, which are used for the sugar cane harvest in Brazil, is much smoother. A direct gear shift is simulated on an existing gearbox. The high actuating and shifting forces are transmitted here. The environmental conditions, such as mud, are also very abrasive. igus® flange bearings made of iglidur® G are used here. Due to the total lack of lubrication, the bearings are completely maintenance-free during the season.
