Drive rod in a front fastening device for cabriolets
Save costs and weight
Special parts made of the igus® material igumid G are used here to secure a safety-relevant load path. The previous front fastening device, which was completely made of metal, was heavier, more expensive and there was a lack of adjusting accuracy. The tolerances that can be achieved now are better and by modifying the length of the tube section, this solution can be easily adapted for different systems.
