These flagpoles always show the flag off in the same way, as they go back to the starting position when the wind is still. Their outdoor use poses special demands. The components used must be temperature resistant and able to withstand the stress from vibration in high winds. Another criterion is the freedom from maintenance. All these requirements are fulfilled by igus® plain bearings made of the universal material iglidur® G.
