By the use of Triflex® RS, the start-up of a complete system for robot-aided production of household appliances could be shortened from 12 to 4 hours.
At the location of Bosch Siemens Household Appliances in Dillingen, 10,000 dishwashers per day are manufactured on new assembly lines. The product range currently consists of over 1,000 versions. "We have to be accordingly flexible in our approach to manufacturing and installation and adapt our machines and plants to the changing requirements of customers," says Joachim Grandy, responsible for the construction of special machines in the dishwashers product range. "While we previously needed up to 12 hours for a comparable application, we could assemble the Triflex® RS universal module within 4 hours."
