The spherical bearings used earlier were made of metal and weighed 175 gm. The igubal® clevis joints weigh only 36 gm.
The lifting device's own weight and thereby the rotating bulk and the load of the drive are reduced by the use of igubal® spherical bearings made of tribopolymers.
