Workpiece storage location
This workpiece storage location is designed for automated shift operation. At the same time, the energy supply must be provided in all four axes of motion (three linear axes and one rotational axis). Different igus® E-Chains® transport energy and data cables, including pneumatic and hydraulic hoses, reliably even in demanding environments; in the case of this application, for example, metal chips and coolants. All the deployed E-Chains® were delivered as pre-harnessed Ready- Chain® systems ready to be installed and were directly integrated.
