Inclined hoist
Almost daily failures of this inclined hoist in the URBIS art centre in the Manchester city centre have become a thing of the past with the deployment of the igus® E-Chain®. The hoist travels a distance of approx. 50 metres at an angle of 45°. The previously used bus system was replaced by an E-Chain system®, and the availability of the frequently used hoist is restored; the maintenance expenditure tends toward zero.
