Large swiveling range
Gear-grinding machine
This application showed that a vertical stroke of more than one metre and a swivelling range of 270° can be implemented in the limited installation space of the grinding head in a gear-grinding machine. Since the conventional suspended installation of an energy chain® was not possible, an E-Chain® with a fixing point at the bottom was selected instead. The E-Chain®, which is flexible at both ends, is run over a guide pulley and kept under constant tension.
