The driven boring machine produces extreme vibrations and heavy soiling during the work process Here, an igus® plasticonly E-Chain® replaced the defective energy supply system, which consisted of a plastic-aluminium composite. The igus® E-Chain® of the E4/4 family satisfies these demands to a great extent and also requires very little maintenance. It also withstands the tensile loads and the weather conditions outdoors. And replacing the old energy supply system was also not a problem according to the information provided by the user.
