The ”OPTILIGHT“ elevator doors presented here can represent information such as storey numbers on the glass surface areas. This is made possible by the deployment of light-emitting diodes and the use of igus® E2/mini E-Chains® for energy supply. Since Since most elevator malfunctions are the result of defective doors, an extremely reliable, space-saving solution became necessary here. After extensive tests, it was even possible to surpass the igus® installation recommendations.
