Robot for printed circuit board handling
For the handling of printed circuit boards, a six-axis robot is used in the case of this application instead of the usual linear systems. The advantage of the robot: it is programmable and can be used on a flexible basis for different production processes. The energy supply system was realised with the multidimensional, flexible energy chain® Triflex® R from igus®. Yet, most of all, the IPA-certified cleanroom suitability of the E-Chain®, which is made of the material igumid NB, was important.
