Until recently, you could not purchase a solution anywhere in the world in which two electric cables with a diameter of 65 millimetres, several smaller cables and empty pipes could be guided by a rotary motion of +/– 190° at a rotational speed of 10° per second. Through the use of adapter consoles and reinforcements, the igus® TwisterChain® realised the application as an ideal energy and data supply system for circular motion.
