Sewage treatment plant
In this application, the power supply of a longitudinal scraper bridge on a sewage treatment plant was realised with an energy supply system from igus®. Under the difficult ambient conditions existing outdoors, the present system with a motor-powered cable drum proved to be not resistant enough. Operation in a sewage treatment plant makes additional demands on the resistance to chemicals. Here the igus® FLIZZ® system offered the appropriate solution because it combines the E-Chain® and guide in one compact system.
