"The test heads on the robots must take up three angle positions, be gimballed and resiliently press on. In operation, they are continuously exposed to extremely aggressive splash water (ionized). The main requirements are: high dynamic accuracy, low weight with high stiffening and high availability in 3-shift operation. All bearing positions of the specimen heads are executed with plain bearings (H370 type) and are therefore maintenance-free in operation, almost clearance-free and nevertheless smooth by the special shaping of the mounting design. Moreover they are economical and light. ”
