"The demands on the bearing are manifold: On the one hand the folding process must be accomplished without much force and on the other, the bearing positions simultaneously form the connecting elements between the individual components, which means the four bearing positions must transmit all loads occurring during riding. Other main demands on the bearing are, among other things, low maintenance (particularly against dirt) and low costs. In order to fulfill the bearing system's manifold requirements, the igus® bearings of the WMF 3034-10 type are used in the standard-production application. ”
