Outdoor rocking switches
iglidur® G plastic plain bearings replaced oil filled sintered bearings on the moving parts of 12kv - 36kv outdoor rocking switches and the associated operating mechanism. The sintered bushes dried out, especially in hot and desert climates, where many of the switches are sold. Maintenance was required too frequently. The igus® bushes are maintenance free and so bearings no longer prove an issue for W Lucy.
