Sliding plug door operating mechanism
The application uses various igus® bearings in both linear and rotary movement to open sliding plug doors, e.g. on buses. Smooth linear sliding and rotary movements had to be achieved with minimal friction and vibration. igus® polymer plain bearings helped achieve the optimal performance from the product, improving overall reliability, reducing maintenance costs and obtaining a higher degree of performance in the product.
