The rear part of a Jaguar X300 becomes designer furniture. According to the customers whish it can be equipped with different interior designs as for example a chest, brochure storage or as rack for glasses and cups. But the original hinges can often not be used again because the hinge attachment points are positioned below the hat rack. Due to its shape, the trunk lid cannot be simply pivoted in common hinges, a lifting and pivoting movement needs to done. The linear lifting movement of the trunk lid is realized with two drylin® W guide rails, the bearing of the swivel movement with iglidur® G bearings.
