This motor robot allows providing audio- and video information also under conditions that are hazardous to health and dangerous to life. t can also be used for search and rescue operations. To lower its weight and to increase its reliability, conventional ball bearings have been replaced with iglidur® J plain bearings from igus®. As a result, its weight could be lowered about 600 grams.
