Controlled downhill
This monoski permits disabled or people with reduced mobility to ski. The user sits in a seat, which is mounted on a mechanism, which cushions impact on the one hand and ensures good control over the ski on the other. Since the moving parts are exposed to snow, water and ice, the bearings used for the application must be sturdy and weatherproof. These requirements were fulfilled best by igus® plain bearings.
