Clean cutting
This machine is used for cutting foam blocks. The blocks weigh between 150 and 300 kilograms and are moved past the vertical blade on a moving table. The old table guide juddered quite a long so that the cutting results were less than satisfactory. Now that the design engineers have replaced the old guide by a drylin® linear guide system from igus®, the machine vibrates much less, leading to a cleaner cutting result.
