Quiet rehabilitation
This walking trainer is used for rehab work with children who have cerebral movement disabilities. The Teflon discs previously used in the movement mechanism are quite noisy due to friction on the rails; this noise is not beneficial to patients’ recovery. Now that the Teflon discs have been replaced by linear plain bearings from igus®, the equipment runs much more smoothly and more quietly.
