The first belt drive axis totally made from plastic
The combination of tribologically optimised drylin® W
linear guide made of carbon with dry-tech® polymers
in the carriage and drive make the toothed belt axis
ZLW-0630-P the first completely metal free toothed
belt axis. Due to the solid all-plastic construction within
the end blocks and with the use of xiros® ball bearings
(with ball made from plastic or glass), the system
is extremely lightweight and completely maintenance
free, because all bearings run dry, free of lubrication.
