Silent adjustment
This custom-designed treatment chair is used in dental practices. It is not adjusted by electric power but rather using a gas spring system. In order to adjust the angle of the chair as silently and precisely as possible, metal bearings proved unsuitable since the bearings wore very quickly due to the frictional forces. iglidur® plain bearings from igus® proved extremely sturdy
